Our clients speak highly about our lawyers.
He is very thorough and he takes a very comprehensive approach.
She is very switched on, very responsive and helps move things forward.
He is excellent — smart and responsive.
I have seldom seen such creative and original work as that afforded me by him.
She is full of strengths: she's always available, readily accessible, clear in her descriptions of issues and timely in responding to inquiries and reminding me of deadlines. Her work is ten out of ten in all arenas.
We are dedicated to building diverse client service teams, fostering an inclusive culture, and providing fair and equitable opportunities to all firm members.
Evident of our commitment to fair and equitable leadership opportunities for firm members, we are a proud participant in the Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Rule 8.0 and a 2024 Mansfield Certified Plus firm. This indicates that for key leadership roles and activities, we considered at least 30-percent qualified underrepresented talent – out of the unlimited number of people considered – before determining the final candidate slate or making a selection or promotion decision.
We have a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.

In "The Art of the Corporate Comeback: Addressing Uncomfortable Situations and Stereotypes,” the SWAGR co-chairs offered a safe space for members to connect with peers and learn practical tools to handle workplace challenges with poise. Topics included building confidence to respond assertively to inappropriate comments while maintaining professionalism; gaining strategies to address uncomfortable situations positively; and shifting the narrative to maintain your professional composure and avoid taking things personally.

We recognize that sponsorship goes above and beyond the normal mentoring relationship. In 2024, the firm launched Saulidify, a new attorney sponsorship program created as part of our DEI Strategic Plan. Through an application process, we selected a diverse cohort of fixed-income partners from across offices and departments to participate. Each cohort member, called a protégé, is matched with both a sponsor and a mentor, and the three work together to promote the protégé’s development and further their individualized goals. The program lasts for nine months, with the group meeting throughout that time and protégés receiving access to mentoring, business development, and skill-building opportunities.

We are innovative.
Our 4+4 hybrid plan, which has been lauded in the press as “flexible and realistic,” asks everyone to be in the office on Wednesdays, allowing for meaningful in-person connections. In addition to Wednesdays, we encourage everyone to be with clients or colleagues in-person at least four additional days per month.

Client Service Feedback Program
We offer a complimentary Client Service Feedback Program in which our director of client relations conducts hour-long interviews, separately, with multiple people at client organizations. We inquire about the quality of our work, communication, and responsiveness, as well as our knowledge of the client’s business. We encourage an open and candid conversation, as the firm’s director of client relations has the authority to act upon client feedback. After the interview process, we share comments received with the client service team and follow up to help ensure service improvements are made. We also take other actions based upon our conversations, examples of which include developing a fixed-fee relationship to alleviate billing pressures, organizing an in-house CLE in advance of a new legal development, helping to place a client on a speaking panel at a national conference, or connecting a client to a service provider.

Resources, Access and Mentoring Program (RAMP)
Through RAMP, we bring together entrepreneurs, investors, higher education and commercial partners to help start businesses and commercialize technologies that help to fuel the innovation economies of the cities throughout our footprint. Our RAMP program is designed to provide entrepreneurs the support and practical direction needed to grow and sustain a business in addition to basic legal needs. Through a variety of events that we host each year, we have created opportunities for members of the innovation ecosystem to come together and make connections—whether they are entrepreneurs trying to build their networks, startups seeking financing, mature companies looking to acquire technology, universities wanting to commercialize their latest innovation or investors aiming to finance any such venture.
